Last week at Pumpkin's 3-1/2 year check up, we talked to the doctor about her unwillingness to do #2 in the toilet, and entertained the possibility that being constipated was a contributing factor. Since it is impossible to get Pumpkin to eat food that isn't beige in colour, we were told to give her a particular laxative product that contains mineral oil, which would get things moving more easily. My recommendation: DON'T DO THIS! I'm not going to describe to you the subsequent events after a week of spiking her juice with this product, but you can refer to the title of this post and draw your own conclusions if you feel so inclined. All I will say is that doing the kind of laundry that I am doing right now does not exactly endear Pumpkin to me all that much right now.
Are you still here and reading this? Why?

YUCK! Poor thing. What was that doctor thinking. Giving a kid the runs is not exactly a potty training strategy... :(
Ugh. It's bad enough with baby blowouts, but that must be just revolting. I'm just giving up on the stained clothes at this point.
oh lord. my friend is going through this too. will she eat all-bran bars? it's kind of like a cookie.
I Love Burning Poopy Stuff would be my working title of this post. I'm with kgirl, try tempting her with some of those little all-bran nuggets (worth a try and bonus: they're beige)
I use MiraLax with Child #4. It is miraculous. And I really feel for you. Having been there....
Have I ever mentioned that I love the title of your blog? I know that's a bit random at this point. But at least I've finalllly remember to type it!
(All Bran) Guardian cereal is beige. It looks like Cheerios but tastes way better. Might help with less ferociousness than the oil.
